Upper blepharoplasty
Excess skin on both upper lids was resting on the lashes and narrowing her field of vision. Shown six weeks after surgery.

I will always tell you honestly whether surgery is the right answer for you. Sometimes it isn't, and that conversation matters to me as much as the operation does.Marta Garcia Vilaro — Oculoplastic Consultant Surgeon
Treatments
Marta treats the full range of eyelid conditions, surgical and non-surgical.

Surgery to remove excess skin and fat from the upper or lower eyelids. It can restore your field of vision as well as change how your eyes look.

Puffiness beneath the lower lid, usually caused by fat pushing forward rather than by tiredness. Treated surgically or non-surgically depending on the cause.

A drooping upper lid that can cover part of the pupil. The muscle that lifts the lid is tightened through a hidden incision in the natural crease.

Cysts, styes and other lesions on the lid margin. Most are harmless, but any lump that changes or persists should be examined.

Constant watering is usually a drainage problem rather than too many tears. Marta assesses the tear duct and treats the blockage.

Small injections that relax the muscles causing lines around the eyes. Also used to treat eyelid spasm.

Used to soften hollowing under the eyes and restore volume, placed conservatively and reviewed at follow-up.

Non-surgical treatments that improve the texture and quality of the delicate skin around the eyes.

Most private insurers require a referral from your GP or optician before they will authorise a consultation. If you are paying for yourself, you can book directly.
Marta is recognised by the major UK health insurers. Cover depends on your policy and the reason for treatment; functional problems are more often covered than cosmetic ones. If your insurer declines, she also sees self-funding patients.
Marta does. She sees you at your consultation, performs the operation herself, and reviews you afterwards. You will not be passed to a different surgeon on the day.
She will examine your eyelids, take a history, and explain what she thinks is going on in plain language. If surgery is not the right answer, she will tell you so.
Consultation fees are confirmed when you book. Surgical fees are quoted in writing after your consultation, once Marta knows exactly what is involved.
Appointments at The Holly Private Hospital are usually available within a couple of weeks. Call or request a callback and her team will confirm the next available slot.
